Ashlyn is a born and raised Midwesterner currently living in Ann Arbor, MI. She received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan in 2024 with a minor in Museum Studies.

Her work analyzes the interconnectedness of personhood, our own perceptions, and our relationships with the natural world. She materializes the idea of the “othered body” in symbolic manifestations of her own personal ventures, often relating to botanical environments and processes. This symbolic imagery creates poetic experiences that audiences can relate to in conscious and subconscious ways.
